Making active feedback quantifiable with the ArFi

With the ArFi, a complete and unique measuring system is presented to be able to quantify haptics. Our ArFi is a modular system that offers the possibility of measuring both vibro-tactile and acoustic feedback separately and in parallel. Its great advantage is already evident in the haptics design phase, as it enables developers to quantify their haptic design and adapt it to the respective application.

With this device you are able to save development costs, create quantifiable haptics and reuse your haptic design in various applications. The device is controlled via a simple user interface that can be accessed via an integrated touchscreen or via your PC's browser. The user interface is accompanied by our “ArFi Haptic Analyzer”, which displays the measured data and takes into account the GHIV “Grewus Haptic Intensity Value” (the human perception of intensity). With the ArFi you get a fully functional design tool that simplifies the design process and lets you optimize your feel to your liking.
